The humpbacks are still working down the coast! We sighted three Humpbacks on the afternoon trip! We cruised out of the Mission bay jetties and cruised out to the west. Lately the weather, sea conditions, and visibility has been so perfect! That definitely helped us in our search for wildlife. We spotted a huge spout out on the horizon about 4-5miles away from us! We caught up with a Humpback whale traveling slowly about 4-5mph hour to the south! It popped up on both sides of the boat and on one of our last cycles, it surfaced right next to our boat, only about 10-ft from our starboard side! We all squealed with excitement! It was the perfect wave goodbye! On our way home, a couple of our eagle-eyed passengers on the top-deck spotted another Humpback! At the same instance, Captain Bryan noticed a huge splash in the kelp forest really close to shore off Point Loma! We watched it and identified it as a single Humpback whale headed south!

Our sunset trip started off with stunning conditions and clear skies but scarce wild life, we search and searched until we found a lone humpback whale traveling south. We got great looks as dusk kept everything softly lit and drenched in beautiful fading pastel light.
