Throughout the year, San Diego Whale Watch hosts beach cleanups in partnership with local organizations and we invite our community to join us in removing trash before it reaches the ocean. In 2024, we proudly adopted Fiesta Island through I Love a Clean San Diego’s Adopt-a-Beach program by hosting multiple cleanups, and in 2025 we expanded those efforts to Ocean Beach. Looking ahead through 2026, our goal is to adopt Mission Beach and continue growing our impact. We’re committed to making a measurable difference and we’re incredibly grateful for the volunteers who show up and make it possible.
