We had a great day on the water with smooth seas and good visibility! We set out to the west and came across a beautiful pod of ~150 Long-beaked Common dolphins cruising the drop-off! We noticed plenty of little dolphins indicating a nursery pod! We were stoked to be cruising in crystal clear, smooth glassy waters allowing us to see them swimming, racing up to our boat and socializing with each other! We noticed a few dolphins swimming upside down, flashing their white bellies! As we picked up our speed, many of them raced up to us to surf our wake and ride the bow! We observed many different species of birds including, Common murres, murrelets, shearwaters, and even a Coco’s Booby! It was totally checking the scene, circling our boat when we were with the Common dolphins. The ride home was nice and smooth and we enjoyed the views of the coastline down into Mexico!

We are offline for tomorrow, as we got some choppy windy sea conditions making for an unfavorable ride.

We will sea you bright and early on Friday morning!
