We headed south with a little help from our friends at Adventure Whale Watch and found a fin whale out at the bank. It had been traveling up from the south, but just after we arrived it located a solid patch of what looked like krill. We watched it make feeding circles and surface every 6–7 minutes.
We also saw massive pods of short‑beaked common dolphins on the way out and on the way back in. The return pod was popping out of the water like jumping beans over and over. These dolphins are always such a blast to spend time with.
The sea is dense with life right now.
