We cruised out to the Northwest when we encountered a large flock of Shearwaters and decided to head out the direction they were taking us. We landed on a bait ball being visited by Fin whales, Humpbacks, Sea lions, Long-beaked Common dolphins and hundreds of Pelicans. They put on an amazing show of the diversity of wildlife found along the San Diego coastline in a stunning feeding frenzy. We saw plenty of cow/calf pairs of the Long-beaked Common dolphins feeding right alongside three Fin and Humpback whales that weren’t afraid to hang around with us right at the surface for a good portion of our trip.

Come join us on our next trip to get a chance to experience it for yourself!
