Our sunset trip was a dreamy one. We committed hard to the north after finding nothing out to the west earlier today, and it paid off! We were able to hang out with one humpback whale while also sighting a second spout on the horizon. We saw two big tail throws — one on approach and one as we left. While we were hanging out with this lil humpy, a small pod of dolphins found us and quickly disappeared — so we went on a mission to find them, and we got some good looks at the playful little goobers as they leapt through the waves time and time again. We watched the sun melt into the horizon as the last blue moon of 2026 rose over the opposite horizon.
