Lucky for us, our friends on the small boats were out patrolling at high speeds, and they tipped us in on some solid wildlife up to the north. We RACED past a pod of 50 bottlenose to get out to a pair of ravenous humpback whales that were movin’ at high speeds out to the west. We got some really close looks before heading back and hanging out with the bottlenose once again.
Our afternoon trip found the same bottlenose as the morning trip, but they were bein’ GOOFY — leapin’ out with their mouths open, doin’ flips and side flops.
We’ve got a sunset trip ahead — stay tuned.
