The Privateer headed out this AM towards Point Loma and only spent 40 minutes before we were able to witness a very sudden breach from a juvenile humpback! After that grand display we discovered this humpback was in good company with another humpback and a pod of over 500 long-beaked common dolphins on their tail (literally). In the mix was this beautiful mola-mola, not interested in the feeding frenzy with the crowd but we were happy to see them anyway.
