We had a really awesome afternoon trip! We set out to the splish splashy Pacific and were treated to windy but fun seas! We headed SW to the drop-off and began to notice a bunch of birds diving to the north of us! Hundreds of terns were grouping up diving and then would scatter and come back together again. It made it tricky to tracky but then we spotted a spout nearby! We caught up with a Humpback whale! We’ve encountered this individual this week multiple times! We were excited to see the distinctive dark flukes. It normally has a partner but it was solo today. It was all over the place! It was seen headed south then it popped up behind us to the west and then we spotted it next to us! It even went underneath our boat and popped up on the other side! We waved goodbye after we got to see its big tail lifted sky high! We carried on to the north and then back home! We had some awesome passengers that were troopers and having fun in the waves!
