Making eye contact with wild cetaceans just HITS DIFFERENT. There’s an intelligence there you can FEEL in your bones. You’d think it would be the same feeling as looking your cat or dog in the eye — but they look back at you differently. It’s indescribable… you’ll have to come see for yourself!
We’re on an INCREDIBLE upswing of wildlife and conditions right now.
Our morning trip had stellar conditions — crystal‑clear water and dolphins everywhere. Both short‑beaks and bottlenose surrounded the vessel, surfing our wake and peeking up at us through the glassy surface texture (look closely at that shot below!).
The afternoon brought all the same dolphins, but we were racing out to see something too cute for words — a cow/calf humpback pair. We arrived just in time to watch baby surface right next to mom. Baby doesn’t have quite the breath‑hold mom does, so while she went on her long dive… BABY CAME RIGHT OVER to say hello.
That cute, squishy little head popped up just 15 feet off our port side and the whole boat squealed with delight.
