Tuesday afternoon the Privateer heading out to the Pacific enjoying more of the perfect conditions we’re gifted all week long.
Close to the drop-off, we found some of our favourite summer locals, short-beaked common dolphins. This pod had about ~100 individuals in the mix, are were tail slapping and chin slapping more than their signature impressing leaps.
There was no shortage of smaller sea birds out there today between storm petrels, Cassin’s auklets, red-necked phalaropes, and elegant terns.
Lots of pastel skies within our sunset, a truly beautiful end to the day.
No Baleen whales this evening, but conditions continue to be just as elegant tomorrow, making spotting wildlife less challenging. It’s a good time to join us.
