We saw the most amazing kelping humpbacks today! We don’t know why these critters (along with other cetaceans) roll in kelp: maybe it’s a skin care routine? Maybe it’s fun? Maybe it’s courtship before the breeding grounds or another social behavior? Either way these humpbacks left us speechless with their rolling, playful nature.
