SAN DIEGO SUNSET DINNER BUFFET 🌅🐋🐬
Who could ask for more?!
We spent some time heading south when suddenly we spotted a spout on the horizon. It looked like it was only a couple miles away… but as we kept going, we realized something BIG was happening.
When we finally arrived, we were greeted by an all-you-can-eat ocean feast:
🐬 500+ long-beaked common dolphins 🦭 A massive raft of sea lions 🐦 Thousands of black-vented shearwaters 🐋 FOUR humpback whales ABSOLUTELY FEASTING their hearts out
Everywhere we looked, life was exploding from the water.
For 45 unforgettable minutes, we simply parked and watched. Dolphins raced through the bait, sea lions charged through the chaos, birds rained from the sky, and humpbacks powered through it all in a spectacular feeding frenzy.
Moments like these are a powerful reminder of just how alive our ocean is.
The Pacific is TEEMING with life, and our hearts are bursting with anticipation for what tomorrow may bring. 💙
