When the wild GOES WILD!!!!! MAN! We had endless wildlife today once we found it! Yesterday we heard whispers of killer whales in the area, you never know what kind of ocean you’re heading out into after they come through like the great pacific cleaning crew and scare everything out of the area.

Our afternoon trip started off slow, we took quite some time searing to locate a very sleepy slow moving humpback whale. We got great looks as it logged at the surface slowly. The ERRUPTION of life kicked in just a couple hours later on our sunset tour. We got to the drop and found HUNDREDS of stampeding long-beaked common dolphins – this wild amount of biomass is beyond thrilling, imagine rolling up on a band of wild horses and being invited to join the stampede. Kinda like that, but – hundreds of wild dolphins, encouraging you to join in on all their fun. While we were with these dolphins, we managed to find 5 HUMPBACKS! There were tons of time to hang out with these humpbacks as they rolled around playfully with each other steadily cruising south. We saw some funky dive, sassy tail flicks and some flirtatious behavior in the group.

GET OUT HERE! The getting is good and should be for some time.

This weekend, conditions will be calm and gorgeous!
