EVERY DAY IS HUMPDAY WHEN ITS FALL IN SAN DIEGO!
We had a stunning afternoon on the water, started off cruising offshore looking for wildlife – eventually we came up on a feeding frenzie of hundreds of long-beaked common dolphins and birds. The conditions were so stunning we could see the dolphins deep in the water column hunting all the tiny fish. On our route back home, we found a humpback that seemed keen on finding the fish the dolphins were after. This whale was surprised us because we saw it on approach to the dolphins but couldn’t locate it once we got closer. Then, on its own time decided it was ready to hang out for a while.
