Sunset was another calm and beautiful trip to round out our Sunday on the Pacific Ocean.
We journeyed far and covered a whole lot of water.
We were keeping our eyes peeled for the fin who was feeding on our afternoon trip. Instead we found the tiniest pod of 10 long beaked common dolphins.
Not satisfied with that wildlife we continued south to a very large and active bird pile of shearwaters and terns where a scattered and bountiful pond of ~700 short beaked common dolphins were leaping and tail slapping and chasing food.
We also got to see a good amount of cow calf pairs who were obviously celebrating Mother’s Day too.
