The blubber nuggets were out in force today — and by that I mean an absolute army of babies showing off in every direction.

We started with a pod of bottlenose, each calf popping up with their eyes WIDE open, like they knew exactly how excited we were to see those tiny faces.

All throughout the day we crossed paths with scattered pods of long‑beaks and short‑beaks, babies everywhere, and every single one of them was performing. One long‑beaked dolphin kept launching itself into the sunset over and over, like it was trying to jump right over the sun.

And if you let your imagination wander… you might even spot the shape of a whale outlined in that golden sunset glow.
