Rocking and rolling on our Monday afternoon trip we made way to some extremely deep water, we were hanging out in a depth of 2500ft more than 10 miles from Mission Bay!
Out there in the deep Pacific we encountered the beautiful blue glow and tall fins of my favourite dolphins, the Risso’s!!
We had a super chill relaxed pod easing along side us, and got to observe their unique and unusual markings.
In total there were about 60 rissos in the area that has separated into different factions of the pod.
They had a couple babies in tow that still were all new and still shiny and solid grey.
We also got to see a couple flying fish and mola-molas today and it for sure felt like summer seas.
We’re heading back out for a sunset trip today.
Stand by for action.
