When you get to see something that wildlife photographers dream of capturing for film and television, you feel like you’re seeing something that doesn’t feel real. We were treated to a friendly pod of offshore bottlenose dolphins who almost seemed to escort us straight to hundreds of common dolphins! To watch the ocean froth and roil from the kicking of hundreds of little tail fins is an unforgettable sight. Not to mention the baby boy dolphin having the breach zoomies right next to the boat! This isn’t the first stampede of common dolphins I’ve seen, but just like all the other times, it took my breath away.

What a fin-tastic sunset trip!
