This morning was truly one of those once-in-a-lifetime trips that reminds us why we love being out on the water! We started the day surrounded by an incredible pod of 300+ long-beaked common dolphins and the energy on the water was absolutely contagious as they raced alongside the boat, surfacing, leaping, and weaving through the waves.
Soon after we also encountered a very curious juvenile humpback whale. We caught a quick glimpse of this young whale and held our breath, wondering if the massive privateer might have spooked it and sent it on its way. Without much warning, it surfaced directly next to the boat and let out a massive blow, startling everyone on board! It was one of those encounters you simply can’t plan for and the kind that leaves everyone smiling, talking about it, and wishing they could replay the moment all over again.
