Happy Thanksgiving from the Pacific Ocean! She really provided, the conditions and wildlife have been so incredible the last few days it almost feels suspicious
. This afternoon, we had glistening seas and hundreds of common dolphins off the drop off, but as the day went on it got even better. This evening, we got it all. We headed out in the direction we heard there were some baleen whales lingering earlier in the day. We searched and searched… with a whole lot of nothing – until we got out out past the drop. We found a humpback whale cruising southbound to Mexico at 6kts! We got tons of good looks before heading out even further- for even more fun. The whole horizon was alight with glimmering dolphin splashes backlit by the setting sun. We ended our trip with a stunner of a sunset, and dolphins escorting us back to the coast line.
The gratitude is overflowing.
