Some days- words, even photos… can’t begin to capture how EPIC a day on the water is. (You’ll have to check videos in the comments) Today, was one of the most incredibly immersive whale watching experiences we’ve had all year! We started off finding two humpback whales slowly traveling south, they were super predictable so we were able to hang out with them, get incredibly close looks and enjoy those big flukes lifting high over the horizon on each dive!

From 5 MILES away – we sighted a huge feeding frenzy! We zoomed off to catch up and when we arrived – we COULD NOT believe our eyes.

We see feeding frenzies, but not like what we saw today! Likely 1000 long- beaked common dolphins, birds, & sea lions all feeding on MILLIONS of sardines. This feeding frenzy was anchored in one location- life boiling up from the depths. We set our vessel in neutral and observed for nearly 45 mins, the dolphins, sea lions and birds swarmed around our vessel, feeding ravenously. (The under water footage is INSANE)

National Geographic has nothing on us today.

NOW is the time to be on the water if you want these incredible experiences.
