WE ARE BACK! AND SO ARE THE WHALES!

Straight out of the gates, we knew exactly where to go thanks to some friends on the radio who pointed us in the right direction. We quickly caught up with what we thought were two whales… which turned out to be FOUR! They were alternating breath cycles and keeping us on our toes. We saw some VERY high flukes, and they spent most of their travel time right at the surface, giving us gorgeous views.

When ALL the other boats in San Diego showed up to watch, we peeled off to give these animals a little more room to breathe. Lucky for us, a playful pod of bottlenose dolphins popped up within a mile. They surfed our wake, launched out of the water, and we even caught some babies doing backflips — OVER AND OVER!

Eventually, the dolphins led us right back to the whales, and we got a few more beautiful looks before heading home.

Just when we thought the day was winding down, a group of Pacific white‑sided dolphins gave us a last‑minute show! These gregarious little speedsters have the silliest mannerisms and absolutely boundless energy.

It’s a stunning time to be out on the water — come join the adventure!
