I can’t scream it loud enough HOW EXCITED WE ARE TO HAVE 3‑HOUR TRIPS BACK! ![]()

An extra 30 minutes out on the ocean can mean EVERYTHING when it comes to whale sightings—and on our very first day back on this schedule, we’re already seeing the reward!
We had whale soup to the south, and with all that extra time, we were able to truly hang out with the whales once we got there. We even had the same fin and humpback whales on both trips! The humpback put on a full-on show for us—EPIC tail lobs, serial breaches, and even some adorable pec slaps.
As if that wasn’t enough, we also got to see the second-largest animal on Earth—simultaneously! Multiple fin whales were hanging out in the same area as the humpback, so whenever the humpback disappeared, we’d shift our focus to the fins.
Everything that makes spring so magical is showing up: the humpbacks, the fins, the dolphins, the terns. It’s all shaping up to be a beautiful spring on the Pacific!
