We had one INCREDIBLE humpback whale on every single trip today! We may have followed this whale through our entire search range—finding it somewhere new on every outing. When you’ve got a really good whale, sometimes that’s all you need for an unforgettable day!

This juvenile humpback (around 3–7 years old) put on an amazing show for everyone. Morning trip: nonstop acrobatics, launching as much of its body out of the water as possible—over and over again! Afternoon: a little less playful and a lot more curious, giving us some GREAT close passes. Sunset trip: energy restored! A fun tail throw and even some kelp play to finish the day strong.

We also had a great spread of dolphins today, with both bottlenose and common dolphins showing up on our afternoon and evening trips.

It’s all out there just waiting to be seen—so hop on a boat and get out here with us!
