Conditions could not have been more stunning — glassy seas reflecting dramatic clouds on a warm spring day. We found two pods of dolphins in these dreamy conditions. First, a pod of feeding long‑beaks that were moving fast and hunting as a team; we could see fish leaping at the surface, desperately trying to escape their fate.
Then we found a very curious pod of cruising bottlenose. We got a few great high jumps, but honestly, watching them glide beneath the glassy surface was the real show — absolutely mesmerizing.
