Our morning trip was buzzing with life. We had FOUR different humpback whales cruising around the edges of multiple bait balls, each one taking full advantage of the dolphins’ hard work. Hundreds of common dolphins were out there corralling bait into tight, shimmering bait balls — and the humpbacks were more than happy to chow down on the buffet. Everywhere you looked, something was happening. It was electric.

This afternoon we ventured a little farther south and found two more humpback whales paired with about 400 long‑beaked common dolphins. As we started to pull away, the whales decided to give us one last surprise — TWO BREACHES behind the boat. A few lucky passengers looking back caught the show of a lifetime.

Spring may have been late, but the ocean is making up for it in a big way.
