We had a great day on the water before the storm hits tonight. We encountered hundreds of long-beaked common dolphins heading out this morning, a big Mola mola further out and found a trio of southbound gray whales coming back in. On this afternoon’s trip we encountered 2 out of the trio of gray whales straight out of the jetties, a pod of long-beaked common dolphins, and big pod of about 15 inshore bottlesnose dolphins jumping through the waves back at the jetties coming in!
