It was a wet one on the Privateer but that didn’t stop us! Our sunset trip pushed 12 miles south, just touching the border, and found a pod of about 300 long beaked common dolphins. They were super excited to see us and swam right over to the bow. We had lots of wake surfers and bow riders! We pushed to the west and found a cow-calf pair of humpback whales! We stuck around for 3 cycles and got some really great looks. The mom was snorkeling and the baby was logging at the surface. It was really cool getting to see 2 different surface behaviors. We are out of the water tomorrow due to the weather but we’ll be back before ya know it!

Stay dry San Diego!
