We had great sightings today! This morning we encountered multiple pods of long-beaked common dolphins feeding with birds before heading to the 9 mile bank where we found thousands of Velella velella and 6 fin whales! This afternoon we found a pod of around 300 common dolphins traveling south before heading to the bank where we got great looks at 2 fin whales and in the distance ahead of us saw a third fin whale breach! Fin whales are not known for breaching so this was an incredible sight!
