We had one afternoon trip today, and traveled northwest until we encountered a humpback whale! It breached out ahead of us and once we got to it we recognized it as a whale that we had seen hanging around off our coast for a couple weeks back in march! While with the humpback whale we spotted another spout south of us so we traveled to the spout and found a fin whale. It had a short dive for a fin whale of about 6 minutes and stayed at the surface a long time. In the last 3 days we’ve seen blue whales, fin whales and now a humpback. It’s a great time to come out on a whale watch!
