We’ve been having such good luck with whales lately!
We headed out west to see what we could find – pretty quickly we found a pod of about 60 short beaked common dolphins! These dolphins are always so full of energy and curiosity, it’s always delightful to cross paths with them. We spotted a spot out west and went to investigate, a shy fin whale that we slowly passed by but, it didn’t seem too keen on hanging out with us so we pushed up north along the drop off and found a pair of fin whales! These whales were very relaxed and seeming to swim in circles feeding on what we believe to be krill!
Another beautiful day out on the water!
