We were lucky to have glassy sea conditions all day! The sun even came out during our afternoon trip! We saw 3 blue whales during our morning trip, and ~200 long-beaked common dolphins. On our way back to Mission Bay we also encountered 1 Minke whale! During our afternoon trip, we saw 5 inshore bottlenose dolphins near the Ocean Beach jetty. We also saw 3 blue whales not too far away from the drop- off. They came up super close to the boat and showed their flukes. We also saw another large pod of ~300 long-beaked common dolphins.
