We had a great time on both trips today! Our morning trip headed out west on the search for blue whales and we were not disappointed! We reached 7 miles and found 8 blue whales, including a cow-calf pair! We got great looks at about 5 of them, with 3 showing off their tail flukes. One popped up right next to us and another swam underneath us and popped up on the other side. Our afternoon trip headed out feeling determined for another great trip. This time, we found a small group of about 50 long beaked common dolphins about 3 miles out! We pushed to 8 miles and found 5 blue whales, including the same cow-calf pair from the morning. We got a couple quick looks before they moved on. We got to hang out with two great flukers on the afternoon trip as well!
