Today’s afternoon trip had calm seas and great visibility! We travelled past the drop-off and encountered two scattered pods of ~150 long-beaked common dolphins. At our farthest point we were about 11 miles offshore in over 2,000 ft of water. We also saw 1 mola-mola.Please stay tuned for our sunset trip!

The sunset cruise was beautiful! We set out and sighted a few Guadalupe fur seals, a rare for sight for us! We also spotted several birds diving and sitting on the water! We followed the drop-off to the north and set out to the west. We caught up with a pod of ~7 Risso’s dolphins that went on long dives. We got awesome looks as they popped up all around us. Typically, Risso’s are pretty mellow, but they seemed to be pretty playful. The sunset was stunning!
