We enjoyed a FOG-tastic day on the water! We set out to SW on the afternoon trip. We followed the drop-off all the way up the coast to La Jolla. There were plenty of seabirds and mini feeding frenzies, but unfortunately no marine mammals. We set out for Sunset trip, and had slightly better visibility, as the wind died down, and the fog pushed out. We set out to the NW, and got lucky and hung out with ~20 Offshore Bottlenose dolphins and ~30 Short-beaked Common dolphins! The bottlenose seemed to like the bow and our wake! We even caught glimpses of a cow/calf pair! The Common dolphins were spread out and popped up all around us. Some raced to our boat to hang out.

Hope to sea you soon!
