Oh whale, whale, whale, we had a fun & salty day on the water today! Visibilty was great and we had mostly calm seas. It was a bit windy during the afternoon trip. However, the wind died down a lot for our sunset trip which improved overall conditions. We saw two pods of common dolphins during our sunset trip! The first pod of ~50 long-beaked common dolphins were found before the drop-off. The second pod we encountered comprised of ~50 short-beaked common dolphins. We also enjoyed a beautiful sunset on our way back to the coast. Looking forward to finding more cetaceans later this week!
