We were blessed with sunny skies and clear blue water today! There was a bit of swell out there on the ocean, however, that did not deter us from finding whale friends and dolphriends! We headed out west and then travelled north along the drop-off, on our way back to the coast we encountered 1 humpback whale. We hung out with it for several breath cycles, it seemed like it was in travel mode. Then, we quickly encountered a massive pod of ~500 long-beaked common dolphins! They came up to our boat and were surfing our bow and wake. It is always such a fun time on the water! Looking forward to a weekend full of salty seas and cetaceans.
