This morning we went north and had 3 humpbacks off La Jolla, we went southwest from there and found a couple hundred long beaks heading towards a feeding frenzy of birds and dolphins. Afternoon trip we found ~50 Risso’s dolphins at the drop off and then found 5 grey whales and got good looks at 2 of them. The trio moved in towards sunset cliffs.
On our sunset trip, we encountered a humpback whale, several California sea lions and ~6 Pacific white-sided dolphins. The swell was a bit bumpy but we managed to find so much wildlife out there today! It is always an adventure on the Pacific Ocean.
