We had the largest single group of gray whales of the season today! We traveled out about 12 miles from shore where we first came across a large pod of hundreds of long-beaked common dolphins traveling quickly to the north. Then at about 12 miles out we came across a pod of 6 gray whales which were very surface active with each other! We then had even more common dolphins on our way back!
