Another EPIC day on the Pacific Ocean! We got a VERY close pass by a gargantuan blue whale! We turned our engines off entirely and just watched there – in silence as this ~90 ft long Blue Whlae silently drifted just below the surface – When it did come up to breathe – it was SO CLOSE that you could feel the vibrations in the air around us! That towering spout stretching so high it was taller than our 2 story vessel! This whale was pointed DIRECTLY at us and we got incredible views of its entire head, some remoras clinging onto its rostrum! We saw multiple pods of dolphins racing about in the ocean and even got to travel for some time with ~ 200 long beaked common dolphins!
Get out here before they’re gone! We never know how long these gentle giants will stay in our waters!
