THE BLUES ARE BACK IN TOWN! 🎶
It seemed as if the blue whales were appearing a bit early this year but we are seeing them consistently already. This is the best news!
We headed out today into some pretty messy looking seas, we weren’t sure if we would find anything but it seems we found the jackpot! We headed a bit further south than we usually do and were able to find a hotspot of wildlife just off of the coastline! We got wonderful looks at a MASSIVE blue whale but there were 4-5 other whales near by as well! We could see those stark while spouts illuminating in the distance. The whale we got to spend some time with was mellow, just gliding along the surface as if it didn’t even notice out presence. We got to see that DREAMY sapphire blue glow that they are named for on a beautiful sunny day!
We got some time to play with a pod of long beaked common dolphins and a brief stop to watch a Mola mola suckin up some vallella vallella!

SUCH solid wildlife out there in our oceans! We love to see it!
But we’d love to see you out here more, that ocean magic is best when shared with all of you!
