We were rockin’ and rollin’ out on the Pacific Ocean! The sea conditions were a lot more nautical than the forecast which made for a fun surprise! The wind was also up which made for a big splash zone on the bow! We traveled a total of ~30-miles on our morning trip but unfortunately it quiet in the marine mammal department. We did sight a few flying fish and a Mola mola!

On our afternoon cruise, we set out to the 9-mile bank and encountered a big pod of ~100 Offshore bottlenose dolphin! They were split into two subgroups with very playful behavior! We observed some high flyers! One breached over the horizon line! We also observed a huge raft of about 15 California sea lions that were hanging out with the Bottlenose. They were all going for dives and coming up with fish in their mouths! There were some tiny bottlenose calves in the pod too!

We have one more sunset trip to go, we will update you soon!

On our sunset trip, we found ~75 offshore bottlenose dolphins hanging out around the drop-off! They were being super active on the surface of the water! We hung out with them for a good amount of time as they surfed in our wake and rode the bow. On our way in we sighted a pod of ~50 long-beaked common dolphins within ~3 miles from shore. The weekend has officially begun, so please come out for some ocean fun!
