Hundreds of dolphins escorted us along our journey on the Pacific today! We headed out west into the mist in search of anything we could find and our first find was quite the surprise! We thought we were seeing a pod of dolphins but it was a raft of sea lions charging out to sea! Quickly after that we found a pod of 200 long beaked common dolphins and they just kept coming the further west we went. So many babies in the pods we found today! They zoomed up to the bow and played in our wake, jumping over and over again! Always so much fun to be part of the pod for a short while.
