What do you call a dolphin that’s a detective? – A porpoise on patrol!
On today’s afternoon trip, we scanned and scanned through the dense fog. Visibility improved as we travelled further offshore. Sea surface conditions were great throughout the trip! We headed northwest towards the drop-off and encountered 2 pods of ~100 long-beaked common dolphins! They came right next to the boat and they were surfing along the Ohana! The best part was seeing all the little calves leaping out of the water and belly-flopping! We have more spooky whale & dolphin fun coming up this October and KIDS RIDE FOR FREE all month! So please wear your best costume and come join us for a wildlife adventure on the Pacific Ocean.
