The MAGIC continues! One of those days that I wish we had more trips to run so that we could spend more time with these incredible animals! Only one trip today (you all need to book so we can spend more time out there 😅)but it was DREAMY, the conditions were stunning and the animals were abundant! We found a pod of long beaked common dolphins just outside of the jetties maybe 15 mins into the ocean, the frolicked near our boat for quite some time – squeezing every ounce of joy out of each and every passenger. They surf in our wake just feet from the boat, in clear photos you can see that they are avidly watching us just as much as we are watching them, curious and wildly intelligent. We had some serious scopeing to do today, it was NOT an easy find but Capt. John sighted a pod of 3, maybe 4 whales all traveling south to Cabo together. They were in no rush, swimming closely, appearing to rub on each other showing some affection. We knew one of these whales, Batman! We know this whale well, it comes by most years on migration it’s very identifiable, it’s tale looks like the shape of a bat (or – the Wu-Tang clan symbol) Seeing these whales year after year, you feel a bond with them, it’s such a joyful feeling to see these wild animals you come to know and love – thriving year after year!
Can’t wait to see you all out here, this humpback season has been better than the last few years ALREADY and it’s JUST starting!
