Come beat those mid week blues on the Ocean! Mild swell and blue skies graced us today with the company of ~300 Long beaked common dolphins!
We had the full spring squad of a feeding frenzy of terns and pelicans with the dolphins feeding underneath. More fun to be had on the sunset trip and plenty of seats still available so stay tuned.
Heart-shaped spouts for a heart filled day! Today, we headed out west and around ~3 miles off shore we encountered two northbound gray whales! They were swimming side by side and raised their tail flukes multiple times! The gray whales were going down for ~5-7 min dives! We also encountered a great pod of ~ 300 long-beaked common dolphins! They were found underneath some pelicans and terns! The sunset this evening was absolutely FINnomenal! Another magical day on the water in the books! 🙂 ( p.s we had a proposal on the trip, and she said yes!!)
