Another GRAY whale TRIO will be in Mexico by the end of the day! We set out on our afternoon trip toward the south and spotted a bunch of spouts in the distance! We caught up with them along the 3-mile line cruising at a steady 3-5mph pace. We joined them on their trek south and got amazing looks at multiple spouts, backs, and tail-flukes! We even got lucky to see two of the whales SYNC up their breaths as well as their dives! We got to see double spout and double tails! The third was out of sync and kept us guessing, but was still lifting its flukes nicely! On one of the surfacing’s, one of the whales LIFTED its head likely playing in KELP, as one piece was hanging from its mouth! The sea conditions and visibility were amazing! Come on out, the January weather is crazy good!
