One VERY interesting whale kept us entertained on our sunset trip tonight! 🐋🌅

This whale was acting very different from the usual Grays that cruise directly north or south — this one was swimming in circles! Every now and then it would BOOST, leaving a long slick line underwater before disappearing and popping up in the opposite direction. Total wildcard energy.

We watched it roll around at the surface a few times, flashing those big pectoral fins. We’re guessing it might’ve been trying to feed in the shallower water… or maybe it was just playing around.

Then a weird sea fog rolled through and gave us a stunner of a sunset, glowing, and absolutely gorgeous. 🌫️✨

Never a dull moment out here.
