What a gorgeous day for some whale watching! With no gusting wind and three hours of glassy water, we were delighted by the conditions on the Pacific. It was very easy to spot wildlife of any kind, including mackerel at the surface and TWO Harbor Seals! We also spent some time with an energetic pod of Short-Beaked Common Dolphins! They were eager to pay us a visit, charging toward The Privateer to bow-ride and surf in our wake. We were lucky enough to hear them vocalizing using high-frequency whistles and by using their bodies to slap onto the water. We will be back on the water Tuesday morning! See you on the water, whale watchers! -Dani
